PRECIPITATION SHIELD HAS RE-ORIENTED AND CURRENTLY SPANS FROM NEW
HAMPSHIRE TO EASTERN TEXAS. IN SOME PLACES OVER THE
MID-ATLANTIC...IN ADDITION TO THE ICE ON THE GROUND...DENSE FOG IS
IN PLACE...KEEPING THE ROAD CONDITIONS VERY HAZARDOUS.

THROUGHOUT THE DAY. THE LION'S SHARE OF THE WINTRY PRECIPITATION
IS EXPECTED ACROSS NEW ENGLAND...AND IT WILL PREDOMINATELY BE A
SNOW EVENT FOR THAT REGION. TONIGHT THE FRONT WILL PUSH OVER THE
ATLANTIC...AND THE LOW PRESSURE CENTER AT THE SURFACE WILL
DEEPEN...WHICH WILL INTENSIFY THE WINDS ACROSS THE
NORTHEAST...ADDING YET ANOTHER DIMENSION TO THIS EVENT. SNOWS WILL
LINGER INTO THURSDAY MORNING ACROSS NEW ENGLAND.
