WINTER STORM WATCHES...WARNINGS...AND ADVISORIES...ARE IN EFFECT
FROM NORTHERN OKLAHOMA NORTHEASTWARD INTO THE MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI
VALLEY...AND EXTENDING EASTWARD THROUGH THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY INTO
THE MID-ATLANTIC AND SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND...ICE STORM WARNINGS ARE
CURRENTLY IN EFFECT FOR THE SOUTHERN MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI AND OHIO

AT 300 AM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADARS AND
SURFACE OBSERVATIONS INDICATED FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET FALLING
OVER SOUTHERN OHIO EASTWARD INTO WEST VIRGINIA AND VIRGINIA. 
MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WAS REPORTED FURTHER NORTH ACROSS
OHIO...PENNSYLVANIA...AND WESTERN NEW YORK.  HEAVY RAIN AND
THUNDERSTORMS WERE REPORTED NEAR THE GULF COAST FROM EASTERN
LOUISIANA...ACROSS CENTRAL ALABAMA AND MISSISSIPPI...AND ALONG THE
FLORIDA PANHANDLE AHEAD OF THE WARM FRONT.

0.25 TO 0.50 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THESE AREAS BY FRIDAY
NIGHT.  IN ADDITION...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER
PORTIONS OF THE SOUTHEAST.
