SCATTERED AREAS OF FLOOD WATCHES AND WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT FROM
SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHEAST TEXAS...ACROSS THE
MISSISSIPPI...TENNESSEE AND SOUTHERN OHIO RIVER VALLEYS INTO
CENTRAL APPALACHIANS.  IN ADDITION...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS
AND TORNADO WATCHES ARE IN EFFECT ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE GULF

THE COLD FRONT THAT IS THE FOCUS FOR THE HEAVY PRECIPITATION WILL
CONTINUE TO PRESS SLOWLY EASTWARD OVERNIGHT AND INTO SATURDAY
MORNING ACROSS THE EASTERN SEABOARD.  AREAS OF LOW PRESSURE MOVING
ALONG THIS FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO ENHANCE PRECIPITATION FROM THE
SOUTHEASTERN U.S. NORTHWARD INTO THE MID-ATLANTIC STATES OVERNIGHT
INTO SATURDAY. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE
LIKELY FROM SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI...ACROSS THE SOUTHEASTERN U.S.
AND INTO THE MID-ATLANTIC.  HOWEVER...ORGANIZED FLASH FLOODING IS
NOT EXPECTED TO OCCUR IN THESE AREAS.
