...HEAVY RAINFALL DIMINISHING ACROSS NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND...

FLOOD AND FLASH FLOOD WATCHES AND WARNINGS REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR
PORTIONS OF VIRGINIA...MARYLAND...DELAWARE...PENNSYLVANIA...NEW
JERSEY...NEW YORK...AND VERMONT.

TROPICAL MOISTURE CONTINUES TO FEED UP THE EAST COAST INTO NEW
ENGLAND...AHEAD OF A FRONTAL BOUNDARY. RADAR DATA INDICATED THAT
AN AREA OF WIDESPREAD LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN IS BEGINNING TO PUSH
AWAY FROM NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND. HOWEVER...EMBEDDED HEAVIER
DOWNPOURS REMAIN WITHIN THIS AREA OF RAINFALL. SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS HAVE FORMED AHEAD OF A SECONDARY BOUNDARY ACROSS THE
OHIO VALLEY AND GREAT LAKES REGION.
