...TROPICAL DEPRESSION GASTON MOVING THROUGH NORTH CAROLINA...

FLOOD WATCHES REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR CENTRAL AND EASTERN NORTH
CAROLINA.

AT 11 AM EDT...15Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION GASTON WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 35.7 NORTH LONGITUDE 78.3 WEST OR 20 MILES
TO THE EAST-SOUTHEAST OF RALEIGH NORTH CAROLINA. GASTON HAS BEEN
MOVING NORTHEASTWARD AT ABOUT 9 MPH. THIS GENERAL TREND IS
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS. MAXIMUM
SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 30 MPH WITH SOME HIGHER GUSTS. MINIMUM
CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1001 MB OR 30.16 INCHES.
