...TROPICAL DEPRESSION GASTON MOVING THROUGH NORTH CAROLINA...

FLOOD WATCHES REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR CENTRAL AND EASTERN NORTH
CAROLINA.

AT 5 AM EDT...09Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION GASTON WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 35.2 NORTH LONGITUDE 79.0 WEST OR ABOUT 6
MILES NORTHWEST OF FORT BRAGG NORTH CAROLINA. GASTON HAS BEEN
MOVING NORTHEASTWARD AT ABOUT 14 MPH OVER THE PAST THREE HOURS.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH WITH SOME HIGHER GUSTS.
MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 997 MB OR 29.44 INCHES.
