CAROLINA...

FLOOD WATCHES REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR EASTERN SOUTH
CAROLINA...CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA...AND EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA.

AT 11 PM EDT...03Z...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION GASTON WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 34.5 NORTH LONGITUDE 79.4 WEST OR ABOUT 30
MILES NORTHEAST OF FLORENCE SOUTH CAROLINA. GASTON HAS BEEN
MOVING NORTHWARD AT ABOUT 8 MPH OVER THE PAST TWELVE HOURS.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH WITH SOME HIGHER GUSTS.
MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 998 MB OR 29.47 INCHES.
