...REMNANTS OF FAY MOVING INTO THE MID ATLANTIC STATES...

FLASH FLOOD WATCHES REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR A LARGE PORTION OF
WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA AND SOUTHWESTERN VIRGINIA.  FLOOD WARNINGS
REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF GEORGIA...FLORIDA...ALABAMA AND
SOUTH CAROLINA.  

AT 500 PM EDT...21Z...THE WEAK SURFACE LOW ASSOCIATED WITH FAY WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 36.6 NORTH...LONGITUDE 83.6 WEST...OR 55
MILES SOUTHEAST OF LONDON KENTUCKY. 

THE SURFACE LOW IS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 6 MPH...10 KM/HR. THE
REMNANTS OF FAY WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHEASTWARD AND WEAKEN
TONIGHT.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE 10 MPH.  THE MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE
IS 1009 MB...29.80 INCHES.
