PUBLIC ADVISORY NUMBER 21 FOR REMNANTS OF T.D "BERTHA"
NATIONAL CENTERS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PREDICTION
HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL PREDICTION CENTER...NWS...CAMP SPRINGS MD
4 PM CDT FRI AUG 9 2002.

...REMNANTS OF T.D. BERTHA MOVING THROUGH SOUTH TEXAS...

THE CIRCULATION ASSOCIATED WITH THE REMNANTS OF BERTHA HAS
WEAKENED.  THE SYSTEM HAS BEEN DOWNGRADED AND IS NO LONGER A
TROPICAL DEPRESSION. THIS WILL BE THE LAST STORM SUMMARY FOR
"BERTHA".

THERE ARE NO FLOOD WATCHES/WARNINGS IN EFFECT....HOWEVER...
ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE STILL
POSSIBLE IN SOUTH TEXAS WHICH MAY PRODUCE 1-2 INCHES OF RAINFALL.

AT 4 PM CDT...2100Z...THE CENTER OF THE REMNANTS OF  BERTHA WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 27.5  NORTH...LONGITUDE 99.2  WEST...
APPROXIMATELY 20 MILES EAST/SOUTHEAST OF LAREDO TX.

BERTHA HAS MOVED STEADILY TO THE WEST/NORTHWEST AT 10 MPH OVER
THE PAST 6 HOURS. MODEL GUIDANCE  SUGGESTS THAT THE REMNANTS OF
BERTHA WILL CONTINUE A WESTWARD TRACK FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL
HOURS AND MOVE INTO MEXICO.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE 15 MPH. ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL
PRESSURE IS 1013 MB.

SUMMARY ISSUED BY THE HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL PREDICTION CENTER.
