STORM SUMMARY NUMBER 51 FOR THE REMAINS OF "ALLISON" 
NATIONAL CENTERS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PREDICTION
HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL PREDICTION CENTER...NWS...CAMP SPRINGS MD

AS OF 1000 PM EDT THE CENTER OF THE REMAINS OF "ALLISON" WAS LOCATED
AT 40.9N 70.5W...OR ABOUT 30 NAUTICAL MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF NANTUCKET
ISLAND...MASSACHUSETTS.  SUSTAINED WINDS OF 20 TO 25 MPH HAVE BEEN
OBSERVED OVER THE SOUTHERN COAST OF MASSACHUSETTS AND ITS
OUTLYING ISLANDS OVER THE PAST SIX HOURS.  THE CENTRAL PRESSURE HAS RISEN 3 MB
OVER THE LAST SIX HOURS TO 1008 MB...OR 29.77 INCHES OF MERCURY.  THE
CENTER OF THE FORMER "ALLISON" HAS MOVED EAST-NORTHEASTWARD AT 17
MPH AND IS FORECAST TO MOVE ON A NORTHEASTERLY TRACK AS IT IS SWEPT TO
SEA BY THE COLD FRONT FAST APPROACHING FROM THE WEST.   

THE SWATH OF PRECIPITATION ASSOCIATED WITH THE REMAINS OF "ALLISON"
HAS BEEN ELONGATED NORTH TO SOUTH ALONG THE COLD FRONT.  THE SWATH IS
MOVING OUT OF CAPE COD AT THE MOMENT AND SHOULD PASS OUT OF MAINE
BY EARLY MORNING.  DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES OVER FOUR INCHES OF RAIN IN
PORTIONS OF SOUTHEASTERN CONNECTICUT...NORTHWESTERN RHODE
ISLAND...AND CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS SINCE 0800 AM THIS MORNING.  RIVER
FLOODING WAS REPORTED IN PARTS OF MASSACHUSETTS AND CONNECTICUT
TODAY.

THERE ARE NO WATCHES OR WARNINGS ASSOCIATED WITH THE REMAINS FOR
"ALLISON" CURRENTLY POSTED.  CONSIDERING THAT THE SYSTEM IS MOVING
TO SEA AND THE SWATH OF PRECIPITATION ASSOCIATED WITH IT IS QUICKLY BEING
SWEPT TO THE EAST WITH THE COLD FRONT...NO MORE WATCHES OR WARNINGS
ARE ANTICIPATED.  THEREFORE...THIS WILL BE THE LAST STORM SUMMARY
ISSUED ON THE REMAINS OF "ALLISON".  FOR FUTURE INFORMATION ON THE
