EQUATORIAL SOUTH AMERICA INTO NORTHERN PORTIONS OF PARA AND
AMAZONAS IN BRASIL.

30S...WITH SHORT WAVE ENERGY FOCUSING ACROSS CENTRAL
CHILE-ARGENTINA TO PARAGUAY/SOUTHERN STATES OF BRASIL. ANOTHER
RIDGE LIES OVER THE ATLANTIC...EXTENDING FROM SOUTHEAST
BRASIL...ALONG 40S 40W...TO 54S 10W. THE RIDGE UNDERCUTS A TROUGH
TO THE EAST AND NORTH...AS THE LATTER EXTENDS ALONG 40S 10W...30S

ESPIRITO SANTO IN BRASIL. A SHEAR LINE LIES TO THE NORTH ALONG 16S
27W TO NORTHERN BAHIA...WHERE IT SUSTAINS SCATTERED CONVECTION.
