EXTENDS ACROSS SAO PAULO TO MATO GROSSO DO SUL IN BRASIL.
SCATTERED DEEP CONVECTION IS CLUSTERING ACROSS BRASIL TO THE SOUTH
OF 07S...WITH CELLS SPREADING ACROSS THE NORTHERN JUNGLE OF
BOLIVIA TO CENTRAL/NORTHERN PERU AND EASTERN ECUADOR.

AT 250 HPA THE SOUTHERN POLAR LIES ALONG 61S 120W...A 150KT

88W...EXITING AT 51S 85W. THE NORTHERN POLAR HAS ITS ENTRANCE AT

THIS IS FOCUSING SHORT WAVE ENERGY ACROSS SOUTHERN CHILE TO
PATAGONIA IN ARGENTINA. A SHORT WAVE TROUGH ON THE NORTHERN
STREAM... MEANWHILE...EXTENDS FROM 32S 90W TO 20S 95W. ANOTHER IS
SHEARING ACROSS RIO DE LA PLATA BASIN/URUGUAY. A SHORT WAVE RIDGE
OFF THE COAST OF PATAGONIA SEPARATES THE EASTERN PACIFIC TROUGH
FROM ANOTHER TO THE EAST...AS THE LATTER EXTENDS BETWEEN 50W-20W
AND TO THE SOUTH OF 35S.

AT LOW LEVELS...A BROAD RIDGE OVER THE SOUTHEAST PACIFIC CENTERS
ON A 1029 HPA HIGH AT 43S 107W. THIS SUSTAINS A TIGHT BELT OF MID
LATITUDE WESTERLIES ACROSS THE SOUTHERN CONE. EMBEDDED IN THIS
FLOW A POLAR FRONT EXTENDS ALONG A 988 HPA LOW AT 55S 74W...ACROSS
SOUTHERN TO NORTHERN PATAGONIA. ANOTHER FRONT FOLLOWS...AS IT
EXTENDS FROM A 1008 HPA LOW AT 47S 76W...ALONG 41S 78W...37S
89W...AND 35S 99W. THIS SUSTAINS ISOLATED TO SCATTERED RAIN
SHOWERS ACROSS SOUTHERN CHILE. FARTHER EAST...A 984 HPA LOW AT 48S
35W EXTENDS A FRONT ALONG 42S 38W...40S 48W...TO THE BUENOS AIRES
PROVINCE. ANOTHER FRONT TO THE EAST AND NORTH EXTENDS ALONG A 984
HPA LOW AT 45S 22W...38S 24W...36S 32W...33S 42W...RIO GRANDE DO
SUL TO NORTHERN URUGUAY/ENTRE RIOS ARGENTINA. SCATTERED DEEP
CONVECTION WAS BUILDING OVER SOUTHERN STATES OF BRASIL/NORTHERN
