WEST OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC...WITH CLOSED CIRCULATION NEAR 07S
90W. THIS EXTENDS A RIDGE TO THE SOUTHEAST ALONG THE SOUTH COAST
OF PERU/SOUTHERN BOLIVIA TO NORTHERN ARGENTINA. A SHORT WAVE
TROUGH TO THE EAST EXTENDS FROM PARAGUAY ALONG 10S 60W TO NORTHERN
PARA. A DEEPER TROUGH CENTERS OVER THE ATLANTIC NEAR 22S 27W.
ORGANIZED DEEP CONVECTION IS CLUSTERING ACROSS NORTHERN
PERU/SOUTHERN COLOMBIA... WHILE SCATTERED CONVECTION EXTENDS OVER
CENTRAL TO EASTERN PORTIONS OF BRASIL.

AT 250 HPA...THE JET ANALYSIS SHOWS THE SOUTHERN POLAR JET
EXTENDING ALONG 63S 121W...58S 98W...59S 75W...EXITING AT 55S 62W.
IT REFORMS AT 49S 57W ALONG 52S 49W...A 151KT MAXIMA AT 51S
37W...EXITING AT 47S 21W. THE NORTHERN POLAR FORMS AT  41S 67W
ALONG 43S 57W...A 46S 39W...42S 21W A 142KT MAXIMA AT 41S

PATAGONIA IN ARGENTINA. OTHER SHORT WAVE PERTURBATIONS POPULATE
THE NORTHERN STREAM FLOW...WITH ONE EXTENDING FROM 30S 97W TO 20S
105W WHILE ANOTHER LIES ALONG 82W TO 23S. A THIRD IS PULLING
ACROSS SOUTHERN STATES OF BRASIL.

83W...54S 105W. A 990 HPA OCCLUDED LOW AT 51S 56W EXTENDS A FRONT
ALONG A 992 HPA LOW AT 49S 54W...43S 55W...39S 60W. A 1000 HPA LOW
AT 44S 54W EXTENDS A FRONT ALONG 37S 59W...35S 51W. STRONG
