TROUGH EXTENDS FROM 10S 40W...ACROSS ILHA DE MARAJO TO THE
SOUTHERN GUIANAS. RIDGE ALOFT IS VENTING ISOLATED CONVECTION
ACROSS ACRE AND AMAZONAS IN BRASIL...WITH CELLS SPREADING TO THE
CENTRAL/NORTHERN JUNGLE OF PERU.

LOWER AMPLITUDE SHORT WAVE TROUGH MOVED OFF THE CENTRAL COAST OF
CHILE...FOCUSING SHORT WAVE ENERGY ACROSS THE CENTRAL ANDES TO
CUYO IN ARGENTINA. OVER THE ATLANTIC...MEANWHILE...A BROAD TROUGH
EXTENDS BETWEEN 70W-47W AND TO THE SOUTH OF 40S...CENTERING ON A
CLOSED LOW NEAR 51S 57W. A RIDGE TO THE EAST EXTENDS SOUTH ALONG
37W/40W TO THE WEDDELL SEA.
