OF 30S AND WEST OF 50W. THIS IS VENTING SCATTERED DEEP CONVECTION
ACROSS SOUTHERN-CENTRAL PERU-ACRE/AMAZONAS IN BRASIL. A TROUGH TO
THE EAST EXTENDS ACROSS RIO DE JANEIRO/MINAS GERAIS...TOCANTINS TO
RORAIMA/SOUTHERN VENEZUELA. THE TROUGH ANCHORS ON A CLOSED LOW AT
09S 51W. THIS IS ENHANCING DEEP CONVECTION ACROSS THE NORTHEAST
STATES OF BRASIL AND ALONG THE NEAR EQUATORIAL TROUGH OVER
NORTHERN PARA-AMAZONAS TO THE WEST.

TIERRA DEL FUEGO/SOUTHERN CHILE AS ANOTHER PULLS ACROSS 53W/54W.
OTHER PERTURBATIONS POPULATE THE NORTHERN STREAM FLOW...WITH A
CLOSED LOW OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC NEAR 33S 79W ANCHORING A SHORT
WAVE TROUGH OFF THE COAST OF CHILE. ANOTHER TROUGH IS PULLING
ACROSS SOUTHERN STATES OF BRASIL...WHERE IT FAVORS SCATTERED DEEP
CONVECTION.

AT LOW LEVELS...A RIDGE ON THE NORTHERN STREAM IS INITIALIZED OVER
