EASTERN BOLIVIA...WITH AXIS ENVELOPING CONTINENTAL AREA TO THE
NORTH OF 30S AND WEST OF 45W. THE RIDGE ALOFT IS VENTING DEEP
CONVECTION OVER THE CONTINENT TO THE NORTH OF 20S...WITH MOST
INTENSE CLUSTERING ALONG THE NEAR EQUATORIAL TROUGH OVER NORTHERN
BRASIL-PERU/ECUADOR.

AT 250 HPA...THE SOUTHERN POLAR LIES ALONG 65S 109W...A 133KT
MAXIMUM AT 54S 95W...EXITING AT 48S 91W. IT REFORMS AT 47S
84W...ALONG 58S 53W...A 141KT MAXIMUM AT 55S 40W...EXITING AT 48S
29W. THE NORTHERN POLAR HAS ITS ENTRANCE AT 40S 89W...THEN ALONG A
136KT MAXIMUM AT 46S 79W...53S 56W...A 132KT MAXIMUM AT 52S
42W...43S 28W...A 145KT MAXIMUM AT 46S 10W...A 155KT MAXIMUM AT

AT 500 HPA...A LONG WAVE RIDGE EXTENDS SOUTH ALONG 110W/115W TO
THE POLAR ICECAP. EAST OF THIS RIDGE...A TROUGH EXTENDS BETWEEN
100W-65W AND TO THE SOUTH OF 30S...WHILE CENTERING ON A DEEP LOW
NEAR 66S 91W. THIS IS FOCUSING SHORT WAVE ENERGY ACROSS SOUTHERN
CHILE/PATAGONIA IN ARGENTINA. FARTHER NORTH...SHORT WAVE TROUGHS
ON THE NORTHERN STREAM ARE SHEARING ACROSS CHILE TO ARGENTINA. ONE
IS PULLING ACROSS THE CENTRAL PROVINCES IN ARGENTINA AS ANOTHER
OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC ANCHORS ON A LOW NEAR 32S 77W. A RIDGE TO
THE EAST EXTENDS ALONG 30S 50W...50S 50W...TO THE ANTARCTIC
PENINSULA.

AT LOW LEVELS...BROAD RIDGE OVER THE SOUTH PACIFIC CENTERS ON A
1025 HPA HIGH AT 36S 113W. EAST OF THIS RIDGE...BROAD TROUGH ON
